Is there a more technical term for this clever device than thingies? Personally I find mini binder clips to be enormously useful for this sort of thing.

Thanks for posting Vikx.
I also use the "mini binder clips" to hold the loose chord along the drip rail.
I should have also include a photo that shows the route of the extension chord down to the outside receptacle on the right rear wall.
For the record, they were made from 3/8" bolts drilled and threaded for #10x24 thread stainless eye screws, and brass "S" hooks.

LOL, Sorry Ladywendolyn but I could not help myself after "your run in" with the New Mexico eBay parts seller.
Thanks, I don't mind sharing my ideas. But have no intension of building Thingies for my retirement years.
It's the perfect kind of item that VTS could spec out, and order from off shore. They would work on every kind of trailer for the past sixty years that uses an awning rail. It's a simple and needed accessory.

Does someone want to make them and sell them? I will pay.. As I don't have a thread creating thingy... You can probably buy everything it takes to make them at your local hardware store for 10 or 15 dollars or there abouts. Then you can say I made these myself after a friend gave me the idea.
