I just got the rest of the floor out of the 59 Airflyte and I remember someone wanted some extra tiles. Well I have about 20 that are still in one piece. A few have dirt and of course scratches but they will probably clean up nice with some floor stripper. I just don't remember who needed them. Someone here needed a few to piece into another Shasta.

mobiltec,
I'm not the one who was originally looking - I remember that, too.
If that other person doesn't come forward, I'd be interested. The floor in our Airflyte is in pretty good shape, except for several tiles, we'd like to try and keep it original, at least for now. I'll send you a private message.

I'll let it set for a while to see if the other party chimes in. Seems there are a lot of 59 Airflytes being restored at this time.

Just be careful taking those suckers out. Most likely asbestos. And also the mastic they used to glue them down also. Should never sand the old glue.

Do you have any floor tiles left. And what color are they. Our floor is salmon color with green swirls I think.

My favorite breakfast and place to eat it costs me $15 with tip. Plus shipping of course. Sound good? If so PM me your shipping addy and I will pm you back what the shipping costs were after I ship them. I think Priority will be the easiest for me because it's as much as I can shove into the envelope.

I also am restoring a 59 Shasta and have these exact same floor tiles. Unfortunately the floor was in really good shape until I scrubbed it and waxed it. For some reason it caused the tiles to start peeling up ( So - I have a bunch of these available to anyone who needs them. By bunch I mean 15 or so that are completely intact.
