Here is a photo of a curved backed, channeled booth I upolstered for my parents 1940's vintage boat. Not a great photo... but If anyone want to do this in your trailer it is actually not very difficult and I can give you some directions.

I will need to make up some drawings and photo them. Normally I like to build a photo tutorial while I am working, but this one was done in an old airforce hanger in the middle of winter while the boat was dry docked. When I make my new cushions and bedding etc. for my camper I am going to create a video tutorial that I will post here for anyone who is doing their cushions to follow. I am going to try and get the vintage trailer movie oscar away from Mobletec .... Lol.... While at least I'll try for a nomination

Ladywendolin,
My wife and daughter are about to start fabric projects (curtains and cushions). I remembered some of your posts regarding upholstering tips. Very helpful. Just saw this one, beautiful work. I like your idea of "enhancing" the site by mimicking Mobiltec's videos. By the way, what exactly is the boat? If you have any other tips my girls could use, we're all ears.
thanks.

I'm always tickled when men can totally rock traditional female gender roles. My dad sewed a shirt once, now he sews butterfly nets and his own car covers.... you even have piping in the lower cushions! You probably impressed your parents ridiculously! Great work, awesome boat!
I would like a list of upholstery tips. Did you see those on a standard machine or on a upholstery grade one?

There are lots of awards for excellence...Oscars, Emmys, Golden Globes...maybe we need to introduce awards for the best videos of "How To..." regarding vintage campers and their parts/pieces/components and call them Vinnies! We could have different categories and gosh...coincidently enough some of the different categories of Vintage Trailer Talk would be great category candidates.
