I bought a Frolic a week ago. It is a 1970 17 foot and in pretty solid shape. Floor and walls seem completely solid and no water damage found at all. The roof is dented in a little and has a little surface rust but for a 44 year old she is in good shape. I will be looking for help learning how to test and operate the systems in it. The previous owner was in the process of doing a camo job and only got the tan base done before I rescued her. I don't know if I will be able to post pictures as I do not have any online photo account. Galaxieman

Online photo accounts are free and there are hundreds to choose from. It sounds like you found a very nice unit. Welcome to the board and just post your questions, some one will give you the answer.

On the forum start page if you click on the first board FORUM Rules and Info, and then look down to the 5th Board you will see a tutorial on Posting Pictures using Photobucket.
It's a great step by step tutorial and it's fairly easy to use, I suggest you give it a try!

I will work on getting a photobucket account and get some pictures up. This trailer has a bright red Stove/oven in it that is beautiful. I have not seen another red one. I look forward to conversing with you all about my journey getting this back on the road. To be honest I bought it really cheap. My Nephew used it for a deer hunting cabin, and had put brand new tires on it and it has two full propane tanks and I only gave $500, so if for some reason i cant get a title I think I could part it out or mount it on another trailer to get it legal and not loose too much. Anyone here experts in Missouri titles? Also I have the original manufacturer tag on it but don't know how much of the number is the VIN. It starts with M817 which I know is the model number but I don't know if the M817 is part of the VIN or just the numbers after that. Gman

Good deal. Would love to see pics, especially of your stove. VIN is probably stamped somewhere on the tongue, too.

I put the tarp on it as a precaution, as we were hours away from an ice storm and I had not had time to leak test it.

Thanks SusieQ, The little red stove did it for me. The flooring is almost perfect. It has one place that it is pulled up a little back against the rear couch/bed unit. But I think I can put it right back into place. Managed to smash my little finger pretty good leveling it today. My first camper injury... Probably many more to come. LOL

Adding a bruised and skint (that might be skinned in other parts of the country) knuckle to my wounds today. I don't think they can call me "Barbie Girl" anymore.

Not an expert per se, but getting a title in MO is not as difficult as what I understand other states are. If you bought the trailer from over the stateline in Kansas, my understanding is all you need is the dated bill of sale with the Kansas address. If not, you will be able to apply for a new title using the VIN. However, it is always the case that if a prior owner is unearthed who doesn't want to disclaim ownership, that could be a problem. We use a Missouri title company who does a great job for us, a holdover from our car wholesale days. Good luck! I love your trailer and glad there is someone else from MO on board.
