In another thread a member was asking about where to find backsplash tiles. I couldn't answer that question because I've only searched for pics I like at this point, but I did add a pic. So to not hijack that thread but share some ideas others might enjoy I thought I'd just start a thread for backsplash ideas if anyone wants to play. I am thinking about doing something with copper if I ever get to the point of working on the interior. Anyway, here's a few things I thinking about, please share yours. I think the copper is a classy look, but could also be rustic but still nice.

I found this one a while back and added it to the LINK section. If you try these, please let us know how it turns out. Not sure what I'm going to use, but if I use aluminum, I'll probably go with something from this site. I already have it picked out.

Bare with me, I'm new at this. I've attached a link to a photo of my new backsplash in the kitchen of my '56 Aljo. I plan on keeping most everything in this trailer original, however, I could not help myself when it came to the vintage reproduction tin. And, it's made in America!

I hope you are able to see it by clicking on the link above. Let me know if you cannot.

Yes, the counter top is original as is everything else. Only added the tin backsplash.

Thanks for starting this thread! This is one of the things I've been obsessing about for the last week! I'm thinking of making my own because I want it to be unique and not store bought. I think I've decided and hopefully will put it all together with step by step photos over the next week. I will be happy to share IF the idea works!

Home Depot has plastic tiles that look like metal ceiling tiles

Be careful using the plastic "ceiling" tiles behind or near the stove: they warp when over heated.

I just ordered a tin ceiling panel from "house". It was $8.00 plus shipping. A really good deal...
