Yep, it was the same one. He bought it - drove up to Michigan or somewhere and got it, and said that he decided that he wanted a bigger one. I think it's more likely that he realized that there was more rot in the back end than he wanted to deal with! Other than that, it's in great shape though, can't wait to take it out!

Did you see any other trailers there when you picked it up? That place looks like a place that deals in vintage trailers all the time on Craig's List. They should have made sure the hubcaps were on secure enough to make the trip. Not very professional of them. I'm not into toasters but it looks pretty nice for it's age. Do you mind sharing what you paid for it and what condition it's all in? Does everything work? If you're talking to me, I don't mind sharing at all. I paid $2900 for it. Everything worked (furnace, gas lamp, lights, etc.), but there was some rot at the front right corner, and the back end was pretty rough once we dug into it from a leaky back window.....but it was a relatively easy fix.

One suggestion for those reading , when I pick up a camper, if I do not repack the bearings or have them done professionally, prior to the return trip home, I remove the hub caps and put them safely in my tow vehicle, and make sure the grease caps are secure, and tow home that way. That allows me to periodically stop and check the grease cap/hub to see if it feels overheated as well as check the tightness of the lug nuts. I almost lost a tire on one tow home when the lug nuts started to back off and when I stopped to make a check, less than 100 miles from the purchase site, found them so loose they were scored by the rim wobbling/vibrating.
