Well - I went for a little ride yesterday and picked up the Globestar! It was a 6 hour trip from SC to AL, but was fortunately pretty uneventful. I lost both original hubcaps somewhere along the way...hopefully they didn't cause too much havoc behind me! Lots of questions to come as we get started doing some rehabbing. Thanks for all of your help as we searched for the perfect camper! First question - has anyone ever seen one of these before? I was able to find ONE online - but that's all. Mike & Jess

I've never seen one before but I love it. What a neat interior. And the ladder to the bunk is GREAT!

That ladder also serves as the bed rails to keep little ones from falling out. The two pin you see slide into sockets in the bunk rail.

Is there an emblem any place? I think I saw a Globestar motor home a while back. Could have been Gold Star tho. Not sure...It had a big gold star in the middle of the grill.
EDIT: May have been a Daystar.

Thanks for the pictures.
The Globestar emblem is more the "globe" part than a star. Not the same as I had seen...

I have a '69 Globestar travel trailer. There is very little info on them. Anyone know where to get exterior logos and decals? Mine are missing and I would like to replace them after I paint my exterior. Thanks!

I love the retro feel inside AND love that you have a ladder to the bunk!

Mine is in good shape. Just missing the refrigerator. Tail light intact but not working. Furnas is there. Its like 4 ft tail no blower time. Inline with front door. Dont know brand or how to get it working

Did you see any other trailers there when you picked it up? That place looks like a place that deals in vintage trailers all the time on Craig's List. They should have made sure the hubcaps were on secure enough to make the trip. Not very professional of them.
I'm not into toasters but it looks pretty nice for it's age. Do you mind sharing what you paid for it and what condition it's all in? Does everything work?
