Just got my 59 Kenny stripped and it looks a heck of a lot better. It's going to stay this way for a while and in the mean time I will be getting everything functional. I'll collect up all the photos of this project and move them to this thread somewhere along the line.

Looks great. Is the gold in front anodized? Cool trailer!

I like it, what does look like on the inside? Are you going to do the videos so we can keep up with you and progress on your Kenny?

Hamlet the gold stuff is anodized and will stay.
Ronnie there will be progress photos and videos but I'm done doing full restores on trailers. I just don't have the time and I've done two completes and a lot of trailer tidbits so I think I've covered everything that I want to cover.
Today I got the brand new Furion full 30 amp chrome inlet installed. It fit perfect. Plugged her in and connected shore water and turned on the water heater. It all worked great. Just need to replace all the drain gaskets because they are old and cracked. Other than that the hot and cold water work without leaks and the shower works. Just need to re-fit a guillotine drainage set up to it outside again and it will be ready for a park with full hookups. More photos to come.

I'm just not planning anymore total restores on video. I'm not going anywhere and I will keep posting videos on different jobs pertaining to vintage trailers and stuff. I want to go to more rallies also and shoot some video at those events.
Here's the new Furion 30 Amp inlet. Also put a new latch on the baggage door and got the plumbing and electrical all working.

I'm guessing, you did that in the warmth? We can't seem to catch a break here in Oklahoma. I know, it's cold everywhere but there, but you'll pay the fiddler this summer.

What stripping method was used? Chemical Aircraft Stripper and a bit of sanding.

Love the front. Looks very Jetsons-Go-Camping.
I'm glad you will still make videos here and there. I really enjoy them.
What are your favorite rallies?
Thanks again.

I don't really have a favorite rally anymore. My favorite one no longer exists. But I do like a couple of the local ones. The Big Bear rally in CA is great. I did a video on that one.

Oh cool. I see your kitchen is on the side. Mine is in the rear. We have the same oven/stovetop. I need to do something about the oven door because it does not shut all the way by itself. Like one of the springs is off or something.
I'll get some interior photos up soon. I pulled the new Norcold fridge out again to do some work to the hole it sets in and get the propane hook ups going. Some things are just worth upgrading and the fridge was one of them for me.
