I have a question. I’ve decided to put twin beds in my Boles areo Zinith. I’m going to use 6 inch by34x73 inch mattresses on a wood platform. How high should the bed frame be. Thanks Gary

Thanks Gary Twin beds were common in many Boles Zenith's. I had a Boles Mira Mar with twin beds. I'm a big fan of twin beds in a travel trailer. They are very practical, and easy to make up which is a big plus. In most cases you want the height of the finished bed to end up about the height of a normal kitchen chair, lets say 18". This will allow you to sit on the bed to get dressed. You never have enough storage space in a trailer. Putting "pull out" drawers under your twin beds makes for very useable storage space. IMO, there's really no advantage to using mattresses that are 6" thick. They are heavy and hard to move around and offer no advantages. If you select a quality "higher density foam", at say 4" thick you will have all of comfort (of any 6" mattress), AND you can use the extra two inches of height to add depth to your drawers under the bed. Just an opinion. John Palmer

Thank you. I’ve been working one the Boles for around 8 years. I was going to put in a futon type bed. I put it in and didn’t like it so I took it out.I have th trailer pretty much done I’ve updated it with tanks a propane water heater and changed it to 12 volt systems. If I wasn’t so dumb I would make a log of the work I’ve done on it

I just noticed you live in Santa Ana Calif. I grew up in Tustin. I now live in North Fork California by Bass Lake Thanks, I live in the unincorporated county area that is just north of Tustin, and just south of the City of Orange. Been here 35 years. The Bass Lake area is a vintage trailer "honey hole". Very nice area. A few years ago, I helped one of my trailer buddies pull a 1960 Yellowstone out of Bass Lake. They purchased the trailer when it was new, towed it to their Bass Lake lot to live in while they built their "dream cabin". The trailer sat in the same spot for more than 50 years, only used for storage. Good luck with your Boles Aero. John Palmer
