Hi All, Any first hand tips for maintaining Marmoleum (linoleum) floors in our trailers? Mine is looking a little dull . Marmoleum is a great flooring product for trailers. It holds up well to the harsh environment, humidity, high/low temperature swings, vibration, flexible subfloor, etc. BUT.....It can be easily damaged from dirt/grit/rocks from a campsite. It can also be easily damaged from improper cleaning, or improper cleaning products. You should go to the source for the best cleaning and refinishing advice. The manufacturer is Forbo, and they have a very comprehensive website with all of the correct advice on cleaning and refinishing their flooring products. John Palmer

We put Marmoleum in Hamlet nearly 12 years ago. Except for one minor ding, it’s held up beautifully. There are lots of cleaners you COULD use on it, but like John said, get the Forbo cleaner. We also have a really good door mat and rug just inside the door. We restored a little 1930s bungalow about ten years ago. The kitchen had real linoleum, not just on the floors, but also on the countertops. It showed some really hard use over the years, so we replaced it. With Marmoleum.
