Hello,
Assuming that my first step of restoration is to remove the skin, my question is: How do I protect the camper from the elements? I have a garage, kinda. It was a farm building which was moved to town and a garage door put on it, but the opening is not large enough to get the camper inside. It's currently sitting in the grass behind my garage.
Of course, this is North Dakota, and also October, which means that it will soon be inhospitable outside for life and fragile things (like my rotted camper).
Has anyone up North kept a trailer outside during the winter while attempting to restore it? I suppose I could get a camper cover to keep it enclosed until spring.
This is a small town, and there are no storage facility spaces large enough to do a restoration in. I could maybe ask around and see if a farmer might have room in a quonset building and willing to rent a little corner to me. I'm just not sure if I will have any luck with that.
Suggestions, comments, or advice welcomed.
