Kreg Jig drill bit fits Harbor Freight Pocket Hole Jig

Hi Friends,
Needing a new step drill bit for your Harbor Freight pocket hole jig? The Kreg pocket hole step drill bit fits nicely into the bit shafts on the Harbor Freight pocket hold jig. It spins freely with no slop.
Here is the HF pocket hole jig.
My HF drill bit was tearing out when drilling pocket holes so I started looking for a replacement. You can't buy them. Pouring over reviews for possible replacement pocket hole drill bits pulled up reviews of products with poor depth collars that were oversized and slipping, set screws that were too short, or the shaft was too small for the diameter of the pocket jig hole.
So, I decided to take a chance and pay more for the Kreg step drill bit and pray that the diameter matches the original HF step drill bit. In the process, I ended up just buying a Kreg MKJKIT Mini Jig Kit as pictured below. I figured it was worth it and I ended up with a new tool. I didn't have the mini jig for those harder to reach joints.
