Hello, I am rebuilding, unfortunately not restoring a 1973 Sprite. The previous owner had removed the interior and tossed it. All that remained was the gravity furnace, fridge (untested) and sink/stove combo. The wife wanted a larger fridge so we plan to delete the wardrobe/lavatory for a period correct 2 door fridge. The floor had been replaced with 3/4" plywood and he laid poly underneath. I will probably cut the poly out and seal the underside of the plywood. The original floor joist are in great shape. It is crazy to think that they didn't protect the joists from road grim and after 50 years these are solid. One rear center joist is cracked, I will sister that one up. Any recommendations on a sealer for the plywood and joists? I was able to have the rear window glass replaced locally, brake hubs turned. Most parts are impossible to find in Canada or I suspect the USA as they stop importing them in the mid 70s. The machine shop is going to fabricate a new driver side control arm for the wheel. It looks like the wheel fell off and the trailer was dragged sparks a flying for a few miles. 1/2" of metal is gone and you can see the outline of the bolt. It looks like the exterior walls sit on the outer floor joists, I was a bit worried after reading several posts here that the new floor was done incorrectly but it is as original with it butting up the the outer joist. Parts I am still on the hunt for include: window latches, window brackets, 2 x aluminum stabilizers, wheel rims, original hub caps with the "S", original tail lights.

Welcome Mustaka.
Cute little trailer. Be careful with the large fridge as it is a lot heavier than the little one. Each side should equal the other.
I use Black Beauty fence paint for the ply underside. It's very goopy and dries to a rubber like surface. Any thick sealant should work on the ply. For exposed joists, I would use some sort of deck or wood preservative.

Planning to do some math before finalizing the locations

Welcome!
I’ve seen many campers like your Spirit in New Zealand but never in the States.
