Just wanted to share my first Vintage camper. Found this 1964 Zipper for sale in Alabama, I paid 400 for it. It was partially gutted, owner described it as having “good bones” lol…. So far I have reframed most of the inside of it using treated 1x4s, installed a new floor, new vent, resealed most of the windows and patched some holes. More work to be done before it’s finished. But it’s coming together. Feel free to share information about it as I’m always looking for advice. I am obviously interested in any appliances and parts for it. I live in Northwest Georgia.

Welcome to VTT.
Craigslist is a good place to find appliances.

We’ve all started out like this. I suggest you halt construction and do a lot of research. The treated 1 x 4s are not good to use. The treatment in them will eat holes in your aluminum. Start with this video and then watch them all. Trust me you’ll thank yourself in the long run. youtu.be/TLozjzfyUjc
