I just completed a set of four inset drawer fronts for my scratch build project. Those pulls are called "slam latches" and probably originate in the boating industry. They are heavy and solid and give a satisfying catch. Pretty low cost on Amazon. Made in China, like most things.
There are a lot of products that carry over well from boat stuff, including lighting and other electrical stuff.
