Final post about my Kustom Koach. After much thought I decided to sell it to a nice couple who completely fell in love with it. The day they came to pick it up, they had already decided on a name for it! I decided to sell it because we want to do some home improvements as well as take advantage of some government grants to increase your home's energy efficiency. The money I got for it recovered the cost of the rebuild as well as a bit extra. I think I made about $1.00/ hr. on the rebuild! It was a fun project and I learned a lot about trailer systems. Thanks to everyone for all of the likes, help and comments. There may be another rebuild project in the future and if it happens be sure I will be back on this forum. Till then I will still be lurking here and commenting occasionally. Final picture of the Kustom Koach. Hopefully the new owners get many years of camping enjoyment.

$1.00 an hour-sounds about right. Cute little trailer!

Yep a dollar an hour is good wages in this hobby. On my first trailer I made a total of $1.78... Beautiful work and loved watching the build.

Really fabulously done!
You can be proud!
I liked the trick on mounting the J Rail.
Happy Travels!

Hey Paul, Nice Work! Solid! I can see how you sloped the crowning up to the ceiling vent. I really like the rear entry door on this small trailer. I don't remember too many Kustom Koach restorations here. A search might turn up something, but you are more likely to have to go to the web. Since that's a small size, similar trailers of the size and year might lend view of the interior. I suppose you begin with where the galley was and then assume the dinette benches were up front. Just a WAG. Rod User justementjustement posting: I have this trailer. Mine is unrestored but I’ve repaired elements of it and added Solar.
