My Title says 1969 Franklin? VIN 7271 I think I have a 1968 but do not know the model.
The tongue has a Stamp that says Class #3 then 7 68 Also the number I have on the title 7271. Picture
The other side of the tongue has a MC-683
One question is.... Was there models of Franklin back then?
Photos of camper...
Thank you!
Steve

It's an interesting trailer, especially the shape. I don't have any info on Franklins. Maybe someone else does.

Hi and Welcome, That's one of the better designed Franklins, I have seen. It's hard to tell if it's a 1968 or 1969. I found a photo of a 1968 Franklin much like yours on the web as seen below. Being that the conjecture is only one year difference, you might have to settle for the date on the registration. Some campers didn't change much from one year to the next. I have a question. That large pane window to the right of the door on your camper looks to have been replaced. Was it? It looks out of place with all the other jalousie windows present. Cheers, Rod

Thanks Rod, I measure the inside living space and it measures between 18-20 feet depending where I measure from. I am guessing the stamp 7 68 is the year. I did see this yellow one you posted but it is longer. I do not have the bunk in the rear Just table and bench seats I believe this one you found was 24 feet. The previous owner of my Franklin said, the large pane window had an air conditioner in it and was apparently leaking by the water damage next to wall. The trailer is pretty solid except all walls around windows probably need to be replaced and the windows need to be resealed. The door was replaced and is not original either, there is a small hole in the floor right inside the door and that window. The water tank compressor and all work well, bathroom is great shape, Kitchen is all in great shape. We have the original refrig that seems to work with electric sometimes, I have not tried the propane yet. At the time of purchase a couple weeks ago, We were looking for a camper, a much newer one we could use right away but this one was such a great deal and solid we bought it and figured we could redo this and either resell or use it.

Can you put pictures on of the Franklin? The links don't work.

Can you put pictures on of the Franklin? The links don't work. Hi and Welcome Virginia, The OP or original poster on this thread, only made three posts on the forum. The last one was in this thread back in October 2020. While I would like to say that they will see your post, I doubt they will return. Maybe I will be proved wrong? The bad links in the initial post tells me that they have moved on to other projects. Cheers, Rod
