I have a glenn aire wall heater in my 59 Traveleze and was wondering if anyone has ever found a replacement knob to fit? I know there are a ton of these heaters missing their knobs and I'm fine with just a new knob but have trouble finding a replacement or knobs with descriptions of what they will fit.

Beautiful heater! Have you found what the knob actually looks like? You might find something to work with that type of shaft.
Try trailertrasher1@gmail.com He has a lot of older/larger trailers that might have had this heater.

So I ordered a set of generic white plastic knobs from amazon that had different size adapters for them. The largest was still too small but I used my dremel to shave away the interior of the d opening and it fit! Some spray paint later and tada.

That's Awesome!!!
I love the resourcefulness.
Thanks for sharing the fix.
Julie,
Have you tried the heater yet? Just curious if you boiled in a few minutes. It strikes me always that you can find a heater this size in a trailer with as small as a 15 foot box.
Cheers,
