I have recently had the chance to come across a 1960 Holiday Oven on eBay that I spent a lot of time de-rusting, re-insulating, and repairing. I am finally to the point where the oven and burners work and look to be in much better shape. I am confused how I would install this oven into a kitchen... The oven has holes on the side panels and back that appear to be for venting the heat. I imagine if I put those vent holes right up to a kitchen cabinet I would have some issues? Does anyone have an example of how this should look installed? Or have any ideas of the best way to proceed? Having trouble embedding the images but here is a link to them: Link to Oven images |

I would study other vintage trailers before installing this stove. It appears to be taller than many stoves and may have sat on a platform rather than been hung on a counter top. I'm not seeing any "overhang" top edge? If this is the case, it should be installed similar to older Shastas. PM me for my email address and I can send photos.
The holes would need some space to breathe but not very wide. I'd say 1/2" from cabinet sides with an open space next to the stove on both sides and at the back. Also be sure there are not holes on the bottom which may need space.
The rubber hose is not acceptable or code inside the trailer. The stove must be connected by copper tubing.

We are very new to this! We were really having trouble finding what we needed to get propane to the oven - we were using the rubber hose as a temporary fix to verify the oven indeed works but are not planning to continue using it. Any suggestions on where to look for the correct copper tubing setup we need?
Really appreciate the help!

You can make and flare your own copper lines per trailer measurements or have an RV company do it. The gas lines should already be in the trailer??
