just finished my trotwood. I found it hear in eastern washington state for 150.00 I havent seen any others anyware not even at rallies it is real similar to a shasta compact, the original interior wase even the same as a compact. if i put wings on it it would probaly pass as one.

What a great find! That is totally a Compact knock-off! You could have almost fooled me. One dead give away is the scallops in the wood of the interior. And the two cabinets over the seat, did it come with those?
I love the tufted cushion backs. I've been so tempted to do that to mine!

Wow, again. It really is just like a Compact. You did a great job. I have a 62 Compact. Almost a carbon copy.

Your Trotwood was manufactured in Trotwood Ohio and they were building trailers before Shasta was thought of. They were considered a high end unit in their day. The factory burned down and they never rebuilt it. You can look them up on the internet to learn more about them. In fact many people claim that Shasta copied them only made the Shastas out of cheap junk and sold them at a low price cutting up the market with a low quality trailer. Your trailer was probably painted a dark color when new maybe a dark green.

GUNRACK!!! All vintage campers need a gunrack! And/or fishing pole racks.. My 54 Westerner had a four pole rack under the bed accessible from the baggage door.

jessadambarnhill the wheels on my trotwood are 13in. 4 lug dose not appear to have any offset, as far as I know those are original wheels. the trailer axel looks like it should wider because there is a lot of space between the wheel and outer wall. I have never seen another one to compare it to so dont know if all were like that. my trotwood is called a [ lark 1 ]I did find an old add ,it said 600x13 tires and the trailer has a 68 in wheel track
