I ordered the sew-on Keder Awning Rail Insert from Perfect Fit and I am very pleased with it. It is 8.5 mm and fits snugly but still slides nicely in my old beat up rail!

It's really cheap if you order a lot! Somebody might want to get get together and split it!
Here is another site that I think some here have used. It is sold by the foot here:

Both sites sell the rail, too. The first site sells it in 8ft sections and the second in 4ft sections.
