I have a 63 Shasta SC- spec sheet says 1950 lbs. The front jack was broken- so I removed and need to replace. What weight jack stand do I need? I ordered a 1000 lb- but now am worried I am incorrect. Thanks all Kathy

Are you referring to the front crank jack on the tongue of the camper? if so then 1000lbs should be fine, tongue weight isnt as much as the camper weighs. Also the install hole on the tongue could be smaller than modern jacks, I had to grid my hole bigger. But vintage trailer supply sells one the correct size, so you may want to check into that. www.vintagetrailersupply.com/1000lb-A-Frame-Tongue-Jack-p/vts-311.htm
