I have a question about our propane oven. The stove top burners work just fine. The oven lights and remains lit, however the oven remains on high. We aren't sure if the thermostat is bad or if there even is one. There is a wire in the top of the oven but doesn't seem to have a bulb as I would believe it should? I am probably wrong that is why I am here. Are there any schematics or rebuild kits anyone knows of? Our local RV repair won't give me the time of day. I doubt newer ovens have changed all that much but as soon as I mention Vintage wow they are pretty much done with the phone call.

Newer stoves aren't that different, shame on the RV place. If the t'stat bulb is missing, it wouldn't adjust the temperature. Do you have a photo? Also, the stove will need a t'stat knob with the bulb and tube attached to fix it. Hard to find part.

You might try your local gas / propane supply company or appliance repair shop.

Thank you all for your replies. Our trailer is kept at an RV storage when we get it home I will take pics of the oven interior and post them.
