How about someone changing the hyperlinks to a different color. As is they are look just like text and there is no way to know it is a link unless it reads like a URL Example here This is a link but it doesn't look like one. Have posted a couple of times and people were confused looking for the link in thread. Not familiar with ProBoards but I bet you can customize the appearance of the links.

On my computer some of your links appear as links, some don't. My guess is that something on your end that is causing the issue because my links always appear as links. I'm on a newer MAC.
I'd try separating the links from copy with a few spaces or as a stand alone link.
As vikx said, Proboard provides a good service for free...except for the ads.

Hi Kudzu,
I think what happens is that when you create the hyper link it doesn't show up as blue because you have been to that webpage when you created the hyperlink, but readers that have not used that link have it show up as blue.
At least thats what I think happens.
I have noticed the same issue, but if I read my post on another device, it shows up as blue.
I believe the blue disappears after a reader goes to the link. If they come back later then I think it's invisible.
The alternative is to copy and paste the entire link which I know can appear messy in a thread.
For a while I was posting links with this in front of it:
Link>>
Cheers,
Rod

Let me try again and hopefully this one will show up.Bingo. That is what it is. The forum is set up to show the 'Visited' link as black so once you view the link, it turns to black. that is very confusing because the text is also black. I used to do web pages and it was considered good practice to make links, both New and Visited a different color than the body text and usually underlined. That way links are always obvious. So you could change it be blue in both states, you could make a 'read' link red or any other color, or different color and underlined, whatever you like but it would make it much clearer. In my last post someone wasn't seeing the link because it was in the read state and black text.
