Hi Friends,
After Photo Bucket skyrocketed their fees last year, I just left my photos on PB and started an account at Flickr. I have been happy using Flickr since then.
Some of you may already know, Flickr will be charging a $49.95 fee for patrons with over 1,000 photos beginning in early 2019. For patrons with less than 1,000 pictures, you still can keep your photos with no charge or free, but you will have to endure some advertising. I would expect most members with just one restoration will have less than 1,000 photos in their albums.
Flickr's new fee is less than $50 per year - a screaming deal when compared to the outrageous fees PB was charging. For less than a price of one frappuccino per month with unlimited storage. Seems like a really fair deal to me.
For ease of access, I may end up paying the fee if the advertising gets obnoxious or that i am reaching over the 1,000 mark.
Another free option is Shutterfly which I know Vikx has used for quite a while.
Cheers,
Rod
