Just to out myself, I am the person that said he would never do this again. We spent 18 months on our Scotty and it was physically and emotionally draining. We just got back from a 5000 mile trip in the Scotty, SC to MI to MN to ND and SD, had a blast. Not one issue with the structure or systems of the trailer -- thanks to all of you who insist on doing this stuff right, it worked!
So how did I go from one trailer to three? At about the same time we left on our trip, my daughter's neighbor gave me a Scotty Sportsman (13 feet I think) that he had used as an extra bedroom for the past 35 years of so --- and it has been covered the whole time! I have rented a car trailer and will pick it up in a few weeks. All original and I am optimistic it is not a total takedown.
At the same time, I was offered a 1965 Airstream Caravel the that had been extensively renovated and then not used. It has sat for ten years. All systems worked and powered up but needs a new axle. So it is now in my backyard and I am in the process of working on that.... projects seem manageable and more user friendly to actually use.
I am hoping that I have learned enough to stay sane during these projects. I am sure I will need help.
I do need some advice on how to sell the Scotty. Put it on Craigslist and got a few lukewarm responses. Have any of you listed your trailer on the vintage trailer website or elsewhere that might be helpful?
Appreciate everyone here. I see the addiction and may have it.

I learn a long time ago to never say "NEVER", I prefer "Glutton for punishment". Danny
