Wow, you are doing a great job. Thankyou for posting the photos too, they help us all out with envisioning our rebuilds too, plus it shows us all of the work you have done. looks like you will be going out this season.

What kind of polish did you use? mine dont look anywhere near as shiny.

What kind of polish did you use? mine dont look anywhere near as shiny. The ZEP brand I bought at Home Depot. Used the “ High traffic” floor polish.

Are you going to walk on that beautiful floor with shoes on ? Dirt can do wonders to a polished floor of any kind.

Are you going to walk on that beautiful floor with shoes on ? Dirt can do wonders to a polished floor of any kind. Socks only so far. . But yes, we are going to use it with dirty camping feet. Shiny things do not stay that way long.

You know it's very hard to hurt VCT. All you have to do is clean it and polish it. You should strip it once in a while too. If you get a stain that won't come out you take a razor blade to it. The coloring of the tiles goes all the way through the entire thickness so scraping away a bit of the surface does not show. This is the exact stuff they use in Walmart and many other commercial floors with very heavy traffic.

The gas pump! There is one like that a block away that I'm trying to get the property owner to cut loose of. And right next to it is a Gravity Gas Pump. The one with the big glass jar on top... I doubt he will ever let that one go. They are on the concrete in front of the original building which is all boarded up. I'll get a photo next time I go by.
