Sad, but it happens all the time. We bought our little wreck of a house with half empty liquor bottles, filthy rags, shredded curtains, rotting, wet carpet, and the worst smell you can possibly imagine. It was in a great area with outstanding views... once all the overgrown bushes, vines and trees were cleaned up. Everyone told us to tear it down and build our “dream house”, but it was crying out for love. So we restored it to its beautiful 1939 simplicity. The owners just couldnt muster the energy to tackle even a day’s worth of cleaning up.
I think this is the way with a lot of old trailers, especially if one person has owned them for many years. Things slip by, and next thing you know, you have junk on the floor and a can of Raid sitting on the kitchen counter. The good news is that someone with some vision and patience to see a job through will probably get this for $4K and turn it back into the mid-century gem it was meant to be.

Wife and I are good as seeing past the crap and seeing what is under/behind/hidden by it. Gotten some great deals that way but I am still always amazed at people. Buyers and sellers. Seller just don't seem to understand that most buyers can't see past the junk.

The listing has ended without a sale but I was able to view it anyhow on another link. That trailer is not worth $6000 even if you cleaned it all up. It's a giant piece of crap...

Owning an ugly trailer is like owning an ugly car. No matter how good is run I don't want it. LOL

Question: Seller says there are some large dents that "should pull out" - does that really work with aluminum?

Of course they’ll pull out! Then all you have to do is to clean it up a bit. A couple weekends and a little elbow grease ought to do it.
