So- I am happy to report I used the router to cut my counter top laminate today- and it was going really well until.... I went to cut out the sink hole. I had not removed the sink- and did not think to change the bit length to accommodate that. As you can guess- I put a nice scratch almost all the way around the sink top. UGH !!!! So glad I am a teacher- as I sure am not meant to operate power tools full time. Hahaha Any ideas how to fix? Thanks all

Sorry for that, Kathy... get some porcelain paint and patch paint. I believe you can sand it and repaint as you go. Also, there may be some epoxy product that will work. There are companies that "repaint" sinks and tubs; check them out to see if it might work for you.
