One of my viewers sent me this and I thought I would share it here. It seems that this sickness we have is a world wide disease.

Larry They appear to be a lot smarter down under more slope to the roofs, bigger and more windows, plus they seem to be finished to a higher standard. My wife really likes that early expando, she thinks we need to build an expando into our Shasta. Probably not going to happen, but who knows maybe get this one finished then find a new one and go from there. If you don't hear from me for a while I think I am going to have myself committed to the Shasta Nut House. But can you picture an early Shasta setting in a camp ground or a rally with an expando may be a dble, one on each side, people would lose there minds.

Bill I have often thought about the same thing. I saw a "tilt out" on a Tear Drop that was put in for the dog. Since then I have been thinking that a tilt out would be the best way to expand space in a small vintage trailer.

I agree about their roofs. The little overhangs might not be the most wind-worthy, but for keeping the rain outta the walls, they just make sense. We don't see that in ours because, sadly I think, they wanted to make em cheaply and fast, and didn't care about what happened to em 20 or 30 or gasp 40 years down the road. Guess it's our job now, to do the re-engineering to keep them on the road, eh?
