Hello all! This is Eloise and she's going to be renovated by my husband and I. She's a 1969 Frolic and while she's seen some ****, her bones are good. The first thing I need to do is replace her wheels so we can move her to where we want in our yard (flatbed dropped it off in a not great location and neighbors may kill me 😬). However, I have no idea what wheels she needs and if I can still buy the old vintage looking ones. Would anyone here be able to help with that? I'm not sure how to find what size the tires are. This is the look I'm going for: Thanks!

Welcome! Those wheels are hard (and spendy) to find. You might check into a new axle and wheels/brakes. It might be expensive now, but down the road it will be a lot less money for repairs.

My 68 Frolic has the same wheels. I wish someone had better news.

I remember paying 150 for a spare for my Red Dale. They were 13" wheels and I got lucky with the spare.

Not sure what wheel takes the baby moon, but they do have a ton of different styles at etrailer.com or is it a specific wheel just for the Frolic?

Hi Friends,
Those old tires can surprise. Try filling them up with air, just enough to fill them, not full pressure. They may be tubed and the rubber back in the day was better than it is today. They might just hold air.
Since you only have a short distance to move it, might be worth a try.
A new axle can be ordered from Dexter axle with new springs and break assemblies for a little more than $500. You can work with a Dexter dealer in your area if you are lucky and go get the axle to save on shipping depending on the distance.
The cost goes up if you have to hire someone to do the actual swap that may need new welding depending on a variety of factors. But consider this: the work is done under an est. 1400 lbs trailer, if it falls on you, it might ruin your day. Sometimes it's just better to pay to let the experienced person do the work.
I know first hand the feeling of having a part of my restoration far exceed my budget. 😟
