I'm happy to pay some lunch/gas money if someone could go kick the wheels on a canned ham for me.

Well let's see it. A lot can be told by the condition and price...

Vikx, Pics are minimal but here are the links. He said one is a '64 Shasta. $600. Here's the link. tucson.craigslist.org/rvs/4198989600.htmlHe said its ceiling is collapsed and fridge is gone but all windows are there as is the rest of the interior. The second he said is a '77 TravelEze. Also $600. He said its interior is in lots better condition. Also missing the fridge but also has the rest of the interior and all windows/door. He said he'd give me a good deal if I'd take both. tucson.craigslist.org/rvs/4198988138.html I have a place to park them in Tucson and would go down and haul/trailer them home as I could. I'm not nearly as experienced as most of the folk on the list but the TravelEze looks older than '77 to me. He said both are in good enough shape for a cross-town haul and both have clear AZ titles. I've read too much here to buy them on this info alone but I am tempted to pull the trigger if someone could take a quick look at them both. I posted a msg on the Vintage Shasta page on FB too.

The One in the first ad has some wood frame rot you can see the siding is loose by the door and the trim in the wheel well is loose.

The One in the first ad has some wood frame rot you can see the siding is loose by the door and the trim in the wheel well is loose. It's also separated at the front corner, if we could see the whole front, I'd bet we'd see some sagging skin. But hey, that just comes with the territory, right?

The Shasta looks to be a 68 or close... I agree the Traveleze is definitely older than 77, maybe 67?
At any rate, both are frame ups. Painted interior on the Traveleze is almost impossible to improve upon; needs new paneling. The Shasta needs new panels as well.
Both are missing important parts and pieces. Table, counter top and lights in the Traveleze, the Shasta is slightly better.
For the work involved, I think $600 for the two would be about right. JMO
