I'm replacing my tires before my first big road trip from FL to NC to see my mountain girl daughter this summer. I know I want a radial tire but would like to see if there are any particular brands that folks like for their camper tires. I want to stay around the $200 range for both tires - no need for wheels. FYI- my trailer weight is under 2k. I'm sticking with my wheels if it'll save me money for now. If it is a brand that my local trailer shop or Discount Tire can order, I'll have them put them on for me.
Any suggestions? Thanks, Poquito

I got mine through etrailer. 5.30x12 radials with an E load range. My local stores only had them in bias ply with a max C load range. You didn't mention your size, but they have a huge selection. Mine are Kendas.

You should get lots of different opinions regarding tire brands, there are plenty to choose from. Here's mine...
I put Maxxis M8008's on my 16SC. They are 8-ply radials shipped to my door, bought off of a supplier on eBay.
I would only be guessing at the size, mine are 15", but here's an example:

Since I couldn't find trailer 15's the same size as the ones that are on there, (they are not trailer tires and don't appear to be the right weight rating) I found 13's that match the size. 205 15's were going to be too big and potentially damage the wheel well if the camper hit a pot hole. I couldn't find 14's that were the right size either so the 13" matched and hopefully will go on without too many band-aids. From eTrailer.com I bought Westlake ST175/80R13 - Radial tire has 6-ply rating and 1,360-lb max load at 50 psi. Nitrogen fill maintains tire pressure. 1-Year No Excuses Guarantee on tire. 2 years complimentary roadside assistance included. Flat tire service available 24/7 anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico. Steel inserts in lug nut wells help to keep wheel securely in place... I chose the Jaguar aluminum wheel with split-spoke design. Couldn't help it- a bit of hot-rod still in my blood. www.etrailer.com/Tires_and_Wheels/Westlake/LHAXSJ101G.htmlPoquito
