I believe we all have a few loose or we wouldn't have such an insane hobby.

I am not a loose screw, not a screw, not loose...Screwy? maybe.
Another tip on the Dremel: I use the EZ Lock mandrel with the thin cutting wheel to slot the screw heads. The EZ Lock allows for a little movement, and you don't break the wheel so often. I really like the thin wheels.

I used to to be the front Loose Screw, does that count?
The thin cutting wheels are definitely better for slotting screw heads, as annoying as they are. You just gotta buy 8 "rolls" of them per screw, lol. Do they remind anyone else of Necco wafers?
I don't remember having any trouble getting any old screws out, except for one in a window that the head came off. I just waited until the window was out and grabbed it with pliers. The stainless #8 screws I bought at Fastenal have slotted hex heads, which should prevent any future removal trouble...
I recently read a tip for getting stripped-head Phillips screws out. Although I haven't tried it, it sounds like it might work. Lay a wide rubber band over the screw head and press the bit into it. S'posed to grip the screw and keep the bit from jumping.

I used to sing for a band called The Loose Screws, does that count? The thin cutting wheels are definitely better for slotting screw heads, as annoying as they are. I'm impressed! Really! Which screw were you?

Thank you sir. That was a studio demo we did, so it wasn't very realistic, lol.
