We just purchased a trailer from a gentleman who completely (mostly) restored it after rescuing out of the woods of NH. He got a bill of sale listing it as a 1971 Shasta with a Serial number S032909. It LOOKS like the shape of a Shasta! It's just all the details that are not. I'm hoping the serial number gives a definitive result. It is 13'7" or so long. It weighs 1850lbs. (We took it to a weigh station). We haven't looked for numbers on tongue because we just got it and propane tank and spare tire attached. It's all aluminum including roof. I've posted on a couple Facebook boards and nobody can seem to identify it. The quilting on it is all original with the exception of the from diamond plate that he added. The door is also throwing people off. It has a channel for an awning that runs all the way across. SO, any ideas? I'm not having any luck attaching photos...

IMG_1220 by Lynn Kiel, on Flickr IMG_1200 by Lynn Kiel, on Flickr I'm gonna say no, and if it ever was a Shasta, someone went a looonnnnngggg way to change absolutely everything about it. This is one that was done up by someone reading mobiltec's advice to put wings on all of them. The siding is all wrong, and those windows are also. The layout would have been changed completely also, which does happen sometimes. Have to question anyone using an avocado stovetop and hood with a teal blue color design. Nope, not a Shasta. Wheel cutout should more rounded inside corners, the skirt and belt should be a small texture 5-WL pattern, as far as I know, Shasta didn't have 3 pane jalousie aluminum windows or a window in the entry door.
All this being said, you still have a great looking camper!
