I haven't posted here in quite a while, but we've been making steady progress on our 1954 Silver Dome and we are entering the home stretch. We're trying to be as complete as possible for the Pismo Beach rally in May. I've got to finish up the gaucho this week and then build the wardrobe, get everything installed, and then it's all systems and trim. www.facebook.com/RoxysRestoration/

The only bad thing about using Face Book for your blog is that people who don't have a face book account can not look at it.

Hi Friends, I do have a Facebook account, but not for what most people use it for. I only use it for finding trailer parts or in this case reading blogs. It's actually how I found my Rod and Reel. BTW, I do use a ghost name to keep my "friend" requests down. I mostly ignore and seldom check them. I spent probably over 90 minutes reading through the blog today with high interest. Since this was a different kind of trailer I was curious as to the restoration. Jason is an amazing cabinet and screen door maker. That's what I came away with. Both Jason and Amy both are enthusiastic restorers. I got a good source for large sheet maple in Los Angeles from reading it as well as a method for applying wood treatment to the paneling. Cheers, Rod
