I have the parts shown below. I suspect they are the Humphrey gas light. I had originally thought I would simply leave it out of the restore. However, I am having second thoughts and am going to attempt to rebuild it. SO, I will be googling humphrey gas lights like suggested in another thread but thought I would put this out there to see if anyone on the forum may have my missing parts. I have no clue what is missing. HELP! Chuck

Well, I googled the webb with no results although I found lots of stuff, nothing that will help me. I would really like to use what I have and just find the missing parts, whatever they may be.

Sorry, I was in a hurry when I posted my pics. I thought they might help you see what's missing. I looked, too. I found some parts but I don't think they are the ones you need. Someone will probably have one for parts.

Suzie, thanks for posting the pics. Now I know what the light should look like. I will keep searching and perhaps over time, I will come up with what is needed. I don't want to purchase a retro light as the sole purpose of re installing it is the originality of the light. AND, I will probably use it.

I found this site with parts today. I don't think you'll actually find the part that holds the globe in the same retro style unless you come across one that is for parts. I will keep an eye out. Here is another site for parts that I found, there may be something here you can use. www.woodmanspartsplus.com/5023/Humphery-Gas-Lights.html

We lost the globe on our camping trip last weekend.. when we arrived at the campsite it had fallen and shattered on the dinette table. Oh well... now we are looking for an original style globe for our lamp but not having much luck. I've seen (on Ebay) frosted globes with floral etched patterns, which were advertised as original equipment on some Shastas. Anyone know of a source or if globes like this were actual OEM issue?

I've never seen the etched ones. Both of the sites listed in the comments above have globes like the ones in our pictures.

Did you look on the vintage trailer parts website? They sell replacement globes, but I don't know if they have the right one...

The traditional frosted globe like my original in the pic above is readily available in several places on the internet. It is still in production an runs about $16.

I know where to get the exact parts you need: you need a Bunsen tube, a globe holder, a burner nose and a burner nose seal, and a mantle, of course. Email Galaxy Gas Company and they will either point their dealer closes to where you live or mail you the parts. falksgaslights.com/

The Falks light parts are entirely interchangeable with Veritas, which is what you have. Also you can get a user manual for Falks lights to get an idea on what to do and how to put things together.

Or are they more specific. Ours is done and hooked up, but needs the mantle. I just haven't messed with this part yet. Thanks!
