Looks like a great idea and probably a coming trend. A bit expensive at $1250, but I would imagine the price will fall as demand increases and technology continues to improve.

At a glance, I thought this looked pretty cool. It seems like just buying a couple of 100 watt solar panels, controller and 100 amp hour deep cycle battery(s) accomplishes the same result for far less $. Its just a big fancy battery box on wheels!

You won't get 2500 watts out of a single 100 ampere hour battery for very long. I carry one around with an 800 watt inverter and it's charged off of my vehicle. I run my ham radio off of it and lights. I can run a weed eater for quite a while on it. Christmas lights when I go camping on Christmas. Stuff like that.

It's a solar powered battery with an on board inverter. I would think you could make one a lot cheaper than $1250. There's another brand sold periodically at Costco, lots of little peripherals sold along side of it.
