Coming from the boating world. Just sold our 1953 52' Chris craft Conqueror after 20 years and am looking for something that catches my eye like the boat. Looking at a 1950 35ft Vagabond and also a late 40's Liberty. Does anyone have any thoughts on the quality of the manufactures. Chevy vs Ford? Thx for the help. I am a rookie

Welcome Sali,
I agree that we need a little more info. If you want to tow and camp, look for shorter trailers. Many campgrounds don't allow longer than 24 feet or so. There are some really nice completed restorations out there in that size range.
Or do you want to do the work yourself? If so, we are happy to give lots of advice.
Brands are not particularly important but some are better than others. If you are looking for a 40s truly vintage trailer, Airfloat and Aero Flites are well thought of. Some of the Boles Aero trailers are as well. It just depends on how much trailer you want. Also, a lot of the older trailers are not fully self contained as a boat is. Something to think about.
As you move into the 50s, there are a few more options. Most will be "park" models and again, not self contained.
Tell us more.
