Packs a lot of stuff in a 21 foot trailer - only thing missing is the pool table! Even has the plank flooring you love so much .
I agree...too modern for me. I'm not real big on what appears to be fabric coated walls and ceiling. I'm sure real wood would be cost prohibitive.
However, some great ideas to incorporate into "resto modding" my Catalina. I like the deep red finish I'm considering for my exterior.

Thanks for sharing this. It has the heart but not the soul of vintage.
There is something special in drifting off to sleep in a camper that people slept in before you were born. If you don't understand that statement, I'll never be able to explain it.

I understand but a few of mine are younger than I am!! I like to sit in them and enjoy the ambiance. It makes me curious what tales they could tell...

They are all jumping on the vintage look band wagon now. Shasta let the way.

I would love to see one of these manufacturers actually make a true vintage reproduction. Weirdly almost everything I have listed is available except the appliances which would need to be reporcelianed or powered coated.
-No microwave -Birch walls and cabinets with mid century style knobs which they still sell. -VCT- tile floor -Leatherette booths -Vintage reproduction fridge (3-way would be nice, come on domestic, get it together) -Aqua, red or yellow stove and sink or at the least stainless, and vintage styled. -Mid century look fabrics. -Bathroom with porcelain bowl toilet and vintage touches. -Chrome trims, wedding cake taillights.
if they did all of the they would be a serious contender. Anything you would add to my wish list?

Cost prohibitive is my guess...they need to market to the masses. Probably good news for those of us restoring truly vintage campers. The price will continue to rise if you are interested in buying, restoring, and selling.

It's nice but I like the older campers, like Kevin said, there is something special about the campers that were previously owned, sometimes before the current owner was born. eat. I laid my head down in our 1957 Shasta for the first time two years ago,the last time I slept in my granddads Shasta I was 12 years old, that was a long time ago but believe me staying in the same style Shasta was & is a treat and although it took me several years to find the right model it makes it all worthwhile. Danny Agreed. I just like to stay on top of what the manufacturers are coming up with these days. This one looked like a pretty good bargain for someone wanting a brand new trailer with a classic look to it.
