So I tried to start the 1961 Norcold in the Kenskill today, it acts like it wants to fire, but then flames out, like it is not getting enough gas pressure. Any suggestions...

You can try air blowing it out.
Spiders love propane, you might also clean the orifice fitting with carb cleaner and air. Do NOT use a handy wire. Wonder how I know that??
Try all gas appliances. The "stink" in propane is an oil; it can accumulate in the regulator and lines and cause all sorts of nasty problems. Usually, one appliance acts up, then another and so on...
The remedy is a new regulator and if that doesn't work, blowing the lines. That can be a pain, because ALL appliances must be disconnected before the valve to prevent damage. Remove and plug each line, then open one and blow. Close and open the next.
Hope this helps.

I also have a 1961 Norcold fridge. Don't know if it works or not as it was uninstalled when I got it. Does anyone have any instructions or manuals for these? I also noticed that you used to have a post on Wedgewood -Holly stoves but now it is unavailable. I thought it might have some useful info as I also got one of those with my new project. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Welcome fidlmom,
We lost some important posts when P***bucket tried to blackmail us...
If you post some photos of your fridge and the workings, we may be able to help.
