I knew the pics wouldn't load. What's up with that? At least you can go to the photo bucket link.

The site is set up to only accept linked pictures you can post a link as you did or you can insert them so they just load automatically from your host site as some do. either way is fine.

Yes that is what I did. I inserted the URL into the link pictures tool but this is all that happened. Not sure what I did wrong?

Copy the url link and PASTE into your reply. Don't use the "insert" at the top. You'll then see a line or two describing the photo and when you post, the photo will show.

Just a heads up. You may know this. I don't paint the door hinges because they always end up chipping from use. I wire brush the entire hinge set with a drill motor and circular wire brush for that satin finish and it looks great. They can also be polished if you are up to it.
Keep the photos coming I'm trying to learn all I can about paint.

Yes, I wire brushed the entire inside door frame to expose the pretty shiny metal and the hinge also. I taped the hinge off when I painted so it would be free from paint. I also just got back my Bargman lock. It was completely painted so I cleaned all of that off and then took it to my locksmith to get a key made. Now I have an original Chrome Bargman lock that really works and locks. How cool!!!
As far as this paint goes, I can't say enough. This was my first time painting with a cup gun. This paint is amazing and very forgiving. When I sprayed it on it looked like it had metal flake in it and it freeked me out. It is also similiar to spraying that fake snow on your christmas tree. But this paint actually "Flashes" really nice to give you that nice smooth paint finish. I have four coats of paint on this trailer and it looks fantastic. What else is really cool about this paint is it is flexible to. When we cleaned the gun we had a clump of it in the thinner so we pulled it out, let it dry, and now it is like a flexible blob of rubber. I highly recommend this LIC Brand (Light Industrial Coatings) paint made by PPG. Any PPG dealer should be able to get the LIC Paint.

Looks great. I really like the contour of the design. Nice curves.

If you copy the "IMG" link from the photobucket page (just click on it, it will say "copied") and paste it here, the pics will show up in the thread, like so:

I painted the hitch Chrome Silver and it really looks nice. However, I have to get the coupler replaced because the safety catch on this one is the old style and it is bent. So after the old one gets cut off and the new one welded on I will have to repaint. Rear bumber is going to be chrome silver to. The drop down in the back is to accent the license plate. But doing that messed up my spare tire location. Looks like it is going in front on top of the V frame of the hitch unless anyone can give me a better idea.
