So I have a 1966 Kenskill 17 1/2 foot trailer. Are most hubs and drums the Hadco 394 style? It seems everyone is talking about this brand and style. I can't see anything makred on the brake/hub assembly. Mine is a 6 bolt hub and a 5 bolt backing plate. If I buy the complete Dexter brake assembly I have heard from this site that they do not match completely with the groove off? Has anyone went thru Hadco for replacment parts if I keep the original backing plate? I don't want to modify parts to get it to fit. Thanks.

What is the matter with the components that You now have ? if they are in good condition just repack the wheel bearings and run with them.

Measured and looks like I have 84 hub and brakes. Going to call Hadco.
