WOW! You are moving fast and I am so impressed by the whole thing. Well done. Yah, that goes for me too. Man, you guys with your shops. Always enjoy looking to see how you restore. I went through your wall album. I liked how you showed the stages of building the wall on the floor. What kind of wood did you use for your wall framing, Trey? The wood looks to be largely knot free. Cool stuff. Keep it comin! Cheers, Rod

Untitled got the sealed floor put down for good with the wheel tubs stapled in place. Teachndad, I'm using pine 1x3, 1x4 that I picked through and chose the most knot free and straight boards I could find.

Finished framing the streetside wall today. Had to get the metal skins and lay them down on the wall to make sure openings were in the right places and get the outline rough cut. Just a little sanding and it will be ready for interior paneling. l

Excellent!
Did you run a pencil line around the skin and then cut with a sabre saw?
Thanks

I tacked the sheet metal down and ran a pencil line around the perimeter, then cut almost to the line with a circular saw, I plan on sanding to the line with a belt sander. I figured that would make for a smoother line...

Almost finished the curbside wall today, just need to trim the skirt board to the correct outline and cut the bottom of the door opening. Next up will be the paneling ont the inside of the walls. Getting excited, there are "pieces that look like a camper" in my shop!

Lookin' good! Gave me some motivation to get something done today. I keep getting a bit overwhelmed with my project, but looking at the progress of others gets me going again

flameout, you need to get on the motivation program that I'm enrolled in... The wife already has the fabric for the dinette cushions, the plates and flatware and other items already purchased and here I am trying to make something that resembles a wall!

Well, after a long pause doing other tasks, etc, I'm back at the camper. I got the walls up with a little help.

Hi,
I watched the re-build of your 60 Lo Liner. I have a 69 Lo Liner and I need to rebuild the door and I'm wondering if you re-built your door. If so, can you offer any pointers before I begin the process? Thanks. swpatriot.
