Has anyone used the Honda EU2000i generator,camping world has one at a 149.00 savings,,it's on sale for 999.00.
Seems like it will do anything we would need,plus where I live we are prone to loose power during the winter.Danny

I've not used one however I saw one being used on a job site the other day, ten feet away you could barely hear it running.

I have a Honda EU3000i and I love it, but if I had it to do over again I would purchase the 2000 which is much lighter. Unless there has been a big increase in price, I think you should be able to pick one up for about $799.00. They do hold their value and are extremely reliable.

The Honda 2000 is great for most vintage trailer. It provides 15 amps and can be paired with a twin to provide 30 amps. Research Yamaha as well.

The EU 1000i is 799.00 at Camping World and the best price I see where I can pick it up is at Home Depot for 999.00. Are they as quiet as the advertisers say they are? Danny |

Yes, even the 3000 is very quiet. I have several friends who have the 2000 and we dry camp together and I can attest to the fact that they are very quiet.

They're quieter than most. But they're not silent by any means.
