Hi All, I need some pics of: - Original ladder for bunk on a 1962 Astroflyte(Astrodome might be the same). Detail pics and info on deminsions, how it stores and sets up , etc.
- Original sink drain fittings on exterior of trailer(no holding tank for grey water) and how it hooks up. The PO just put an ABS 45 sticking out the side of the trailer.
Thanks

I have the ladder for my 1963 Astrodome. If you will email me at mjones3693 at gmail dot com I can send photos and get measurements. Melissa

I always run my sink drain out the bottom. Eliminates the trap and water dribbling down the side of the trailer. You can put a tasteful round vent over the hole after sealing.
Here's how many 50s trailers were originally:
<a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/53634851@N03/35526412214/in/dateposted-public/" title="Belle Sink Drain (1)"><img src="https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4345/35526412214_d42e8485f4.jpg" width="500" height="375" alt="Belle Sink Drain (1)"></a><script async src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
And here is some newer adaptations:
<a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/53634851@N03/35526412344/in/dateposted-public/" title="001 n Odette Water System (5)"><img src="https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4373/35526412344_e0b80608f4.jpg" width="500" height="375" alt="001 n Odette Water System (5)"></a><script async src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
<a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/53634851@N03/35526412384/in/dateposted-public/" title="001 f Birdie Sink and Drain (3)"><img src="https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4372/35526412384_4c8625088b.jpg" width="500" height="375" alt="001 f Birdie Sink and Drain (3)"></a><script async src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
<a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/53634851@N03/35526412124/in/dateposted-public/" title="Two Sink Drain (2)"><img src="https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4395/35526412124_fd93f49092.jpg" width="500" height="375" alt="Two Sink Drain (2)"></a><script async src="//embedr.flickr.com/assets/client-code.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
With the trap gone, there is no worries on freezing. A bucket or a small tote collects the waste water. It's simple and works.
