Hi Ross, We were successful in finding our SN on our trailer tongue today! P25421. We know it is a Shasta Starflyte, and we 'believe' it is a 1974 19ft? It has dual axles. Can you confirm that for us? Thanks so much!

dodee Based on the numbers of the vin#, if the Shasta Compact was produced in Indiana, it would be a '73 Compact......if from South Carolina, it would be a '76 Compact.......Couldn't have been from any of the California plants or from Washington, Texas or Pennsylvania plants. I would say that if the green manufacture's plate, next to the entry door states Goshen, Indiana, it is a 1973 Compact. Good move on not purchasing without a title! BUT, you could check with your local DMV and see what they require, if a title isn't available. Hope this helps. Ross Thank you Ross. I did not buy it, instead I bought a 64 Shasta Airflyte. It's wonderful. I had to redo a lot of it. I did not fully restore it but did repanel some walls. The stove works well propane is flowing smooth as well.I was having a little trouble with the Richard Murphy Refidgerator. The pilot button box is sticky and although the pilot lights the burner does not stay lit once you let go of the button. The pilots works fine. So I decided to do a cleaning of that box which is about an 1" X 1" and believe I may have messed it up. I sure hope I can purchase another (pilot button assembly) box reasonably cheap. I don't know what it is called though. Oh oh by the way I did get a clean title on this one.
