I agree on saving what we can. I noticed the box a couple of days ago on a member's post, but mine were fine. I certainly hope this may work out in the end, with PB backing off. Not sure.
I use an ad-blocker which PB doesn't like. I have to reload the PB page every time just to see the pix. AND: the reason for the ad-blocker was PB's lovely habit of placing video ads that wouldn't stop. Even if you left the page, the audio for the ad still played on and on...
Also, I have limited the editing ability at VTT, mainly to deter deletions of interesting threads. I have enabled editing for all members so that anyone who wants to can repair their threads. It's going to be a LOT OF WORK. Sigh.
Going to look into Google, would rather pay Google than dratted Photobucket.
For users who are affected by this, it is important to note that the images are not gone. They are still hosted on Photobucket, and you can actually load them right then and there by right-clicking on them and selecting "open image in new tab"
You can download your entire library of images by selecting Library on Photobucket, and there the download album link under actions.
