I wasn't really ready for an awning yet, but my wife thought it would be a good idea, so we went looking at joann fabric and found something we both liked, but held off on getting it. When we got home, she found the site awnings4rvs.com and found a complete rope and pole 8x10 awning for $190 . Not much of a choice of fabric, but seems like a decent price. www.awnings4rvs.com/mobile/#page-46I haven't seen this vendor mentioned here. Has anyone used them?

I haven't heard of them before. Most vintage awnings are heavy duty cloth rather than vinyl clad. I would ask about the weight and guarantee of the product.
Try Marti's Awnings for that true vintage look.

Thanks. From the reading and research I've been attempting, I seem to run across a lot of these awnings constructed with that vinyl clad material. I was kind of wondering what the heck it even was and if it felt like a tarp. I'll check Marty's Awnings
