We are getting our first vintage camper. I am wanting to make my own curtains, seat covers and pillows, but can't seem to find Vintage Fabric. Does anyone have or know where I can find large amount of Vintage Fabric?
Is there a site where we can also buy vintage items for our camper?
Please and Thanks for the help.

I think ebay and etsy will be your best bet. There is a lot of vintage inspired fabric out there that could be a good fit too.

There is an antique mall near us with a vendor who has lots and lots of vintage fabrics. You may want to try that, or even a thrift store. Good luck!

eBay has authentic vintage fabric, usually drapery panels and usually expensive. As an alternative, try searching "mid-century modern" and "atomic age" on Spoonflower. This is new fabric, available in a variety of fibers and weights, printed on demand in your choice of pattern. You can even design your own and have them print it.

I designed my own vintage fabric. I design a lot of things, so it was not hard for me. Spoon flower is the company that I designed it through, and you can buy it there, or look at hundreds of other original designs, some of which are very retro. Here is a link to my designs : www.spoonflower.com/profiles/ladywendolyn_

I have purchased large quantities of vintage fabric on ebay. I second the use of old drapery panels..they work well for trailer curtains. I do want to say that most vintage fabrics are not up to the task of holding up to the abuse of cushions.

One thing with the fabrics from Spoonflower. You can order any of the patterns on different kinds of fabric weights. I have chosen one that is thicker and reminds me of the texture of the mid century bark cloth curtains. It is called "LINEN COTTON CANVAS".. the other one I like Is called "ECHO CANVAS". They are both thicker and more durable.
I was originally going to use vintage drapery panels and then heard stories of people spending hundreds of dollars on them only to have them fall apart. So I will be doing pinch plate drapes for the true mid century detail, and I think it will look great with my red atomic star fabric.

Lot of fabric on Etsy some are new computer generated vintage fabrics. If you find one you like and you want different colors email the designer because most will tailor the design colors to your liking.
